            To develop this work I will support my ideas in the following sources

• La raza y el destino manifiesto, orígenes del anglosajonismo racial norteamericano, Reginald Horsman. The text by Horsman explains the evolution of the idea of a superior race, model of the founding fathers of the U.S.
• Destino manifesto, sus razones históricas y su raíz teológica, Juan A. Ortega y Medina. This text is important because explains the theological fundaments of the manifest destiny which are present through the dialogues in the novel.
• Piel negra, mascaras blancas, Frantz Fanon. The content of this work has to be in consideration because explains the white attitude but from a perspective of an Afro-American, is helpful to compare ideas.
• Soul on ice, Eldridge Cleaver.in this book Cleaver makes a pair of analogies about the Afro-American characters in Uncle’s Tom Cabin, and a critic about them, for example, the passive attitude of uncle Tom.
• Black rebellion in the U.S, William Brink, Louis Harris. This work explains the history of the afro American fight for freedom and their right in the XIX century.
• Empire of liberty, Rauch Malone. This book explains the way in which develops the process slave’s liberation.
